Eligibility criteria:
- The students should not currently study in China and should not be a Chinese citizen.
- By September 1st, 2024, applicants must have a high school diploma (equivalent to a Chinese high school diploma), an HSK5 certificate, and be under 30 years of age.
- By September 1st, 2024, the applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years of age.
- All the applicants wishing to graduate in 2024 must submit a Pre-Graduate Certificate to ensure that they will complete their studies and receive their degree by July 2024.
- All Applicants for doctoral qualifications must have a master’s degree and be under 40 years of age by September 1st, 2024.
Required documents for USTC Scholarship
The documents that will be uploaded to the Online Application System are:
- Complete the USTC Scholarship application online with your signature and latest photo.
- Research or research proposal (no less than 800 words).
- 2 letters of recommendation
- Copy of passport
- CV updated.
- Photocopy of External Physical Examination Form.
- A copy of the degree certificate and text for both Bachelor and Master’s degrees (if you have one).
- Evidence of language proficiency
